Dr. Osawaru Omoruyi, MD,MBA,CMD

Dr. Osawaru J. Omoruyi MD, MBA, CMD is an established and independent medical provider in our local community. He is Board Certified in Family Practice, Geriatrics, and Hospice and Palliative Medicine. Dr. Omoruyi offers compassionate and excellent care for his patients. Dr. Omoruyi also acts as a hospitalist for St Mary’s and Elizabeth Hospital while maintaining his position as the medical director of several long term care facilities as well as Pearl Geriatrics and Palliative Medicine and Pearl Medical Practice. Dr. Omoruyi is admired by his peers and employees as a Doctor who has a tremendous work ethic, bedside manner and an overall vision that everyone deserves excellent healthcare.

Virginia "Ginny" Bonnette, APRN

Virginia "Ginny" Bonnette joined Pearl Medical Practice in 2019. She brings 20 years over medical experience including RN experience in ER, Critical care, and Nursing Management. She completed her Advanced Practice Degree (MSN) in Family Practice at Grambling State University in Louisiana in 2006. She has practiced in settings including Family Practice(12 years), Interventional Cardiology, Medical/Cosmetic Aesthetics(as an RN injector and APRN 18 years), Pain Management, Juvenile Corrections , Wellness/Functional/Ant-Aging Medicine, and research (16 years) . Her current focus of practice and passion continues to be Family Practice, Wellness/Functional/Anti-Aging, and Medical Aesthetics. She enjoys spending time with her children/ family/ friends outdoors, listening to music, horse racing, and LSU football.

Lori Weis, APRN

Lori is a native of Louisville, KY. She is a graduate of Sacred Heart Academy, as well as having completed her Nursing degree from Eastern Kentucky University in 1999. She started her nursing career in transitional care at Baptist Hospital until deciding to complete her Masters Degree in Family Nurse Practitioner. She attended Spalding University until achieving this from 2001-2003. She stayed employed as Registered Nurse at Baptist East until 2006. Her first position as a Nurse Practitioner was working as with a Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Practice until 2005. She then took a position with a Gastroenterology practice from 2005-2016 before transitioning to Primary Care. When Lori is not working, she enjoys spending time her family, anything with sports, or being on the water.

Todd Harris, APRN

Mark "Todd" Harris has been a nurse practitioner for five years; he previously worked as an Emergency Department nurse for nearly a decade. Todd makes patient care a top priority, whether it's in the clinic or in the various long-term care facilities Pearl partners with. When he's not working, Todd enjoys spending time with his family, collecting wine and Krav maga.

Pearl Medical is an Accountable Care Organization

An ACO is a group of doctors, hospitals, and/or other health care providers that work together to improve the quality and experience of care you receive. ACOs receive a portion of any savings that result from reducing costs and meeting quality requirements.
